Built in 1972, Lana's on the Reef is the oldest of the resorts on Tobacco Caye. Lana is a friendly soul with a lot of good stories to tell. I found it difficult to pull myself away from the conversation and finish the rest of my work of evaluating the rest of the resorts on the island. Lana's is also well known for having some of the best food on the island.

The rooms at Lana's are all in a lodge which is just steps from the beach. I would recommend one of the upper rooms as they seem to get more natural light, and a better breeze.

There are four rooms at Lana's, two of the rooms have double beds, and two have a pair of double beds. All rooms have private baths.
